Before surgery

Laser eye surgery only takes 20 to 30 minutes per eye and surgical preparation is the most time-absorbing step here. The procedure itself is over in only a few minutes.

Before surgery your eyes are carefully examined one last time and prepared for this outpatient surgery in a sterile room, where both eyes are treated on one day bilaterally.

Please note: Don’t wear contacts prior to surgery.

Stop wearing RGB lenses for a minimum of 4 weeks and soft lenses for at least 10 days before surgery. (If you are normally wearing RGB lenses change to soft ones until up to 10 days before the procedure.)
