LASIK alternatives
There are several exclusion criteria and therefore LASIK isn’t a good option for everyone: e. g. if the cornea is too thin/very dry or if prescription/diopters are just too high to be corrected by laser eye surgery.
Apart from a number of alternative laser procedures even artificial lenses, such as implantable lenses or lenses that replace the eye’s natural lens, might be the most appropriate treatment. There are as many alternatives as there are individual needs.
